Working in customer service and leadership roles, especially at Kroger and Best Buy, gave me a front-row seat to how people function in the workplace. I witnessed the impact that effective (and not-so-effective) management can have on morale, performance, and retention. Those experiences made me want to be part of the solution, someone who supports both the company and its employees.
I chose Human Resources because I believe everyone deserves to feel respected, included, and heard at work. HR isn’t just about rules and paperwork; it’s about listening, guiding, and helping teams succeed together. I want to help create environments where people enjoy coming to work and know they’re treated fairly.
To me, HR is a career that blends structure with empathy. It gives me the chance to use both practical skills and personal values to make a difference. I’m passionate about learning more, growing as a professional, and eventually helping companies build stronger, more human-focused workplaces.
